A very relaxed journey into self awareness...

I've been reading articles from Henri Junttila for a while now so I'm a big fan of his work.
This includes I'm familiar with his blog and some of his online trainings and I have to say reading this particular book "Follow Your Heart" made me learn a lot more about myself and taught me how to be aware of my current position and situation in life.
The book is an easy read although I've read it all in two sittings because I didn't want to speed read it, I actually took the time for things to sink in and I'm glad I did.
At first I thought the book was going to be all about meditation (which I'm not too fond of) but that's only the Chapter 1 (or "Day 1" as Henri calls them) I even tried the suggested meditation exercise at the end and it felt weird (again I don't meditate) but good at the same time.
There are 21 chapters in total and at the end of each chapter, there are three "heart based" actions that will put what you've just read to the test.
Even though it feels like a "Life is good and nothing is bad" kind of book, Henri actually goes very deep into mental health and I loved the fact that in the latest chapters he actually shows you that relaxing and taking a step back doesn't necessarily means to not do anything about your problems but how to actually solve them by making subtle changes in your perception of things.
Reading Tip:
You're going to find references to "following your heart" throughout the entire book, for some people this may sound "cheesy", for some others this will be fantastic but just in case you're put off by these references I'll suggest you think about that "gut feeling" we all have or your "very inner soul" because it's the same concept only different words.
Personal Gain:
I've been through a lot of constant changes myself and I felt I needed to speak with someone about them, I found almost all the answers to most of my questions in this book and I also felt like Henri was speaking directly to me.
This book will teach you how to deal with friendships, relationships, family, work, life, joy, mind, minimalism, stress, anxiety, anger, fears, awareness... there's a little bit of everything.

21 gentle steps toward living a happy, fulfilled life

I teach people how to follow their hearts for a living, and this book has got the right stuff. If you read this book, your heart will be opened. If you not only read the book but also practice some of the Heart-Based Action Steps, your life will transform. I know because I've given these same action steps to my own clients and they've experienced transformative results.
So yes. This is good stuff. Powerful stuff. And each step is bite-sized enough to be gentle, doable, and not intimidating.
Read it with an open heart. No - read it with a closed heart and allow your heart to be opened.

Great step by step way to find and pursue your passion...

Follow Your Heart: 21 Days to a Happier, More Fulfilling Life by Henri Junttila is great read and truly inspirational, but this book will do you very little good unless you open yourself up and actually allow yourself live the steps that resonate with you.
The author makes this easy to do as the lessons in this book are fairly short, one each day for 21 days, but they over-deliver with the amount of useable information they offer. Each lesson is followed up by a series of doable action steps so you can begin to get the most out of the material right away.
We hear a lot about finding our purpose and following our passion, but this book actually gives us a step by step, hands on way to do that.. I found many of the ideas resonating with my inner core and I felt like there were concepts I had known or should have known my whole life.
I've always had a dream of doing work I love without worry, without chasing money and without frustration. Though I have not yet tried all of the techniques suggested in the book I have tried the ones, as suggested, that most resonate with me and even after a few sessions I feel less stressed, less overwhelmed, more inspired more focused and more at peace. I feel more energetic and optimistic about my work. There is still worry and stress in my life, but now I feel I have some tools for dealing with that when it inevitably pops up.
